We are travelling from Desenzano del Garda on Lake Garda to Versailles to visit the Palace. We shall explore the Alps around Chamonix and a couple of towns on the way. Afterwards we progress to Cangey, near Amboise, to stay a week. French chateaux of the Loire Valley are the lure.
