We went on an Eight day Travelsphere guided tour of Sicily, staying at 2 hotels. Day 1 was spent travelling.

The flights were to and from London Gatwick and Catania in Sicily.  The hotels were Hotel Antares, near Taormina on the east coast, and The Acacia Resort Hotel near Cefalu on the north coast.  Both hotels were comfortable and the food was buffet style and of satisfactory quality and choice.

The Antares hotel was built on the side of a hill with an associated Hotel Olympico at the top of the hill. The two hotels were connected by a funicular railway used as a lift. The photographs show the view from the room balcony,  the funicular lift, the Antares Hotel from the Hotel Olimpico.
