Day 13 - Tuesday 10th June 2014

Today we caught the bus for Verona but travelled only as far as Peschiera.  This town lies at the bottom left corner of Lake Garda where the River Mincio flows out of the lake. There are two channels of the river through the town so part of it is on an island. It is quite a small town and so did not take long to explore and we were back in Sirmione by lunchtime.  During the afternoon we spent time by the pool and later trekked into town for the obligatory 'gelato'.
