Didyma    -  Day 11  Thursday 12th May

The final visit of the day was to the Temple of Apollo at Didyma.

The building was first constructed about 8th century BC, was enlarged in 560 BC. It was destroyed by the Persians and rebuilt by Alexander after his victory over the Persians in 334 BC.
